Introduction to Kitchen equipments and utensils, Health & Safety, Food Safety, Baking Basics

Is this a paid program?
No, DYEN offers scholarships for its programs to cover for tuition, including the 4 months culinary program. However, there is a 5000 NGN / Month fee that covers materials and other items necessary for class and group activities.
Is this a physical or virtual class?
This program is a 100% physical program.
Are there any compulsory requirements?
Yes, there are. Every accepted applicant must meet the following requirements Culinary Chef Kit (Customized Apron + Bonnet) - 4,500 naira Administrative fee - 3000 naira, Facility - 2000 NGN (500 Naira per month) Culinary Practical - 5,000 per month (This covers materials and other items necessary for class and group activities)
Is the certificate compulsory?
No, certificate will be issued to student who meet certain criteria.
Where will the classes be held?

Will I get an internship opportunity after the program?
Yes, only eligible students are sent out for internship.
What is the duration of the internship?
It spans for a minimum of 2 months, after successful completion of the program
Can I continue working while enrolled in the program?
Yes you can but it may be challenging to balance a full-time job with the program's workload. We recommend considering your availability and commitments before enrolling to ensure you can dedicate sufficient time and effort to successfully complete the program.
Are there opportunities for volunteering with DYEN during or after the program?
Yes, DYEN welcomes individuals who are interested in volunteering. We have various volunteer roles available and students can inquire about these opportunities during or after the program. Volunteering can provide valuable hands-on experience, networking opportunities, and a chance to give back to the community.
