Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use DYEN's website, submit an application, attend a program, join an event, make a payment, or interact with our services in Nigeria.

1. Acceptance Of These Terms

By using this website or taking part in any DYEN application, program, class, event, internship, volunteer activity, sponsorship, donation, or community activity, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website or take part in the service.

2. About DYEN Services

DYEN provides skills training, mentorship, admissions processing, student support, events, community programs, referrals, internships, partnership activities, and related services. Our main physical programs are held in Warri, Delta State, unless a specific program page says otherwise.

3. Eligibility

Some programs have age, location, interview, device, attendance, guarantor, prior knowledge, payment, or other eligibility requirements. You must meet the requirements stated for the specific program or service you apply for.

If you are a minor, DYEN may require parent, guardian, guarantor, or emergency contact involvement before you can participate.

4. Your Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information in applications, interviews, payments, referrals, forms, and communications.
  • Use the website and forms only for lawful purposes.
  • Do not submit false, misleading, abusive, harmful, or fraudulent information.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt, copy, scrape, attack, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorised access to our website, databases, accounts, or systems.
  • Do not impersonate another person or use another person's contact details without permission.
  • Do not upload malware, spam, or content that infringes another person's rights.

5. Applications, Admissions, And Programs

  • Admission, scholarship, interview, class placement, internship, volunteer, and alumni decisions are at DYEN's discretion.
  • Meeting an eligibility requirement or submitting an application does not guarantee admission, scholarship, funding, internship, certification, employment, or any income outcome.
  • Applicants and students must follow the program schedule, attendance rules, assessment requirements, code of conduct, safety instructions, and any instructions shared for a specific program.
  • DYEN may reschedule, suspend, withdraw, or modify a program, interview, class, event, internship, or activity where necessary for operational, safety, funding, compliance, or other valid reasons.
  • Students may be removed from a program for misconduct, fraud, repeated absence, harassment, unsafe behaviour, breach of rules, or any conduct that affects other students, staff, partners, volunteers, or DYEN property.

6. Payments, Donations, And Refunds

  • Where a fee, acceptance item, merchandise payment, donation, sponsorship, or other payment applies, the amount, payment deadline, and payment method will be stated before payment.
  • You are responsible for confirming payment details before paying. DYEN will not be responsible for payments sent to unauthorised accounts or persons.
  • Unless a specific written refund term applies to the transaction, payments already used for program administration, reserved items, third-party fees, or confirmed services may not be refundable.
  • DYEN may correct pricing or payment errors, reject suspicious transactions, and request proof of payment where necessary.

7. Certificates, Internships, And Outcomes

Certificates, completion records, internship recommendations, referrals, showcases, or alumni support may depend on attendance, participation, assessments, conduct, payment status where applicable, and completion of program requirements.

DYEN does not guarantee a job, contract, client, business income, admission into another institution, visa, sponsorship, or any specific financial result.
