About Product Design (UI/UX)
DYEN's Product Design (UI/UX) program is a free, scholarship-based design training course in Warri, Delta State. This program takes students from the fundamentals of user-centered design through to creating high-fidelity prototypes with Figma, equipping them with the skills needed to design digital products that people love to use. User research and empathy, uncovering user needs and pain points, design thinking methodology (empathy, ideation, prototyping, iteration)
UI/UX Design Basics
Fundamental UI elements, interaction design principles, visual hierarchy, wireframing and low-fidelity prototyping
Design Tools (Figma)
Mastering Figma, creating low-fidelity prototypes, designing and prototyping user flows
Ideation & Concept Development
Understanding the ideation process, refining ideas through critical analysis, developing design concepts for real-world case studies
High-Fidelity Prototyping & Mockups
Designing high-fidelity mockups with realistic visuals and interactions using Figma, user testing
Usability Testing & Branding
Conducting usability tests, A/B testing, data-driven design decisions, integrating branding principles, UI design principles (color theory, typography, layout)
Design for Platforms & Social Media

Attend an In-Person Interview in Warri
Shortlisted applicants will be invited for an in-person interview at the DYEN campus in Warri, Delta State. This helps us get to know you and assess your commitment.
Get Accepted and Begin Training
Successful candidates will receive an acceptance notification and can begin their training at the next available cohort start date.
